What we handle for you

  • Ownership: foreigners can own freehold property outright in Dubai’s designated areas.
  • Payments: transfers in dollars, pounds, euros, rupees or riyals to developer escrow accounts or the Dubai Land Department trustee — never to personal accounts.
  • Currency: the dirham is pegged to the US dollar, so prices are stable in dollar terms. Use the AED / INR / USD switch at the top of every page.
  • Mortgages for non-residents: UAE banks typically lend up to about 60% on ready homes and 50% on off-plan, subject to income documents.
  • Residency: property worth AED 2 million or more may qualify you for the 10-year Golden Visa.
  • After you buy: property management, rent collection and inspections while you are abroad.
  • Languages: English, Hindi and Malayalam.

Questions

Buying from abroad, answered.

Can I buy property in Dubai without living in the UAE?

Yes. Non-residents can buy freehold property in Dubai’s designated areas. You do not need a UAE visa or residency to buy.

Do I need to travel to Dubai to buy?

No. You can view by live video, sign digitally or through a Power of Attorney, and pay by international transfer. Many of our clients complete the whole purchase from home.

How do I pay for a Dubai property from abroad?

By bank transfer to the developer’s escrow account for off-plan, or to the Dubai Land Department trustee process for resale homes. We give you the exact payment instructions in writing.

Can non-residents get a mortgage in Dubai?

Yes. Several UAE banks lend to non-residents, typically up to about 60% of the value for ready homes and 50% for off-plan, based on income documents from your home country.

Does buying property give me a UAE visa?

Property worth AED 2 million or more may qualify you for the 10-year Golden Visa. Smaller ready properties may qualify for a 2-year investor visa.
